Kerr frequency combs @ IFCS 2016 (9 to 12 May)

At this years International Frequency Control Symposium Kerr frequency combs are present with a focus session on Wednesday, 11 May starting at 10:10am and ending at 12:10pm. This session features the following presentations:

Which domain? or What is the name of our research field?

When preparing this blog, the question of which domain to pick was of course an important one. The obvious choice would be to take the name of the research field because after all it is a blog for the research field. But then, what is the name of our research field? So I did a bit of research.
